As the global community continues to monitor the spread of Influenza A(H1N1), the Department for Transport has issued a note to transport sector stakeholders encouraging a harmonised response to the outbreak.
This is in line with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)’s Electronic Bulletin EB 2009/13, which details procedures for reporting of suspected cases of Influenza A(H1N1) and passenger tracing using Passenger Location Cards (PLC).
The Department for Transport has set up a dedicated inquiry line for industry aviation stakeholders. Stakeholders can email james.gilderoy@dft.gsi.gov.uk or phone 020 7944 5847 during office hours.
Off-office inquiries should be directed to Simon Knight through the Department’s Duty Office at: 020 7944 5999 or via email at: simon.knight@dft.gsi.gov.uk
